Each ornament is hand made and is a little different so the texture of the background may vary or how the landscape is laid out. But the general colors and nativity lay out remains the same. Ribbon it hangs from may vary but all will velvet ribbon.
I started making clay paintings 5 years ago when I was looking for a way to bring more texture to my paintings. I had the idea to try using clay and it has been the best journey. I loved creating something that hasn't been done before (I'm sure it's been done somewhere, but for me, I had never seen it. And even when I tried looking for it, couldn't find it).
Each piece takes hours and hours of work starting with mixing all the colors. Every color you see has been hand mixed starting with just red, yellow, blue, and brown. My kids love helping with this process so a lot of these colors have been with their help.
This nativity is hand made with clay. It is durable and hard to the touch but you should still avoid touching the artwork itself to avoid getting oils and dirt on the artwork.. You can remove any dust or oil by wiping gently with a dry microfiber towel.
